Membership Eligibility

Since 1923, our membership has grown to over 45,000 strong. We invite you to become a part of our family. As a state chartered credit union, absolutely anyone is eligible to join. You'll want to encourage your family and friends to join too, so they can benefit from PFCU's full array of products and services.

Become a member and enjoy all the benefits such as higher rates on deposits, lower charges for loans and totally-free checking. To become a member, one of the following must apply:

You live or work in the greater Milwaukee area or within Wisconsin
You're currently employed by or worship at a Member Company or belong to a formal organization or association that is a Member Organization.
You're a member of the immediate family of a person employed by a Member Company or a person who resides or works within the community.

Important Information About Procedures for Opening New Accounts

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to indentify you. We may also ask for your driver's license or other identifying documents.
